Terms of Use

Looks Match is for adults only. You confirm at sign-up that you are at least 18, and we record that confirmation with your date of birth. We may suspend or delete any account we believe belongs to a minor, without notice and without refund.

You may hold one account. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your password to yourself.

Looks Match measures facial proportions from a scan you take, produces a Harmony Score and related sub-scores, and uses that score to introduce you to other members in a similar range over live video.

The score is a numeric description of geometric proportion. It is not a measure of your worth, attractiveness, health, or character, and it does not predict whether anyone will like you. We make no promise that you will be matched, that anyone will be available, or that any introduction will lead to anything.

The scan runs in your browser, on your device. Video frames from your scan are analysed locally and are not uploaded to us. What reaches our servers is the resulting set of numerical measurements and scores — not photographs or video.

During a live session your video is transmitted directly between you and the other member wherever the network allows it. We do not record sessions. We may relay the connection where a direct one cannot be established.

By running a scan you consent to this processing of facial-geometry measurements for the purpose of producing your score and matching you. You can delete your account at any time, which deletes those measurements.

You agree that during any session you will not:

• expose yourself, perform sexual acts, or display sexual content;
• harass, threaten, demean or abuse the other person;
• record, screenshot, stream or otherwise capture the other person;
• show anyone under 18, or involve a minor in any way;
• impersonate someone else, or present a pre-recorded or artificial video feed;
• advertise, solicit, or attempt to move the person to a paid service;
• do anything illegal.

You can end any session immediately, and you can report or block anyone. We review reports and may suspend or remove accounts at our discretion. Serious matters may be referred to law enforcement.

The advisor is generated by an AI model. It offers general guidance on grooming, skin care and presentation, informed by your scan measurements. It does not see your photos.

It is not medical, dermatological or psychological advice, it does not diagnose anything, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional. AI output can be wrong. Speak to a doctor or dermatologist about anything affecting your health, and never start or stop a medication on its say-so.

After a session either person may privately indicate whether they would like to speak again, and may attach short positive descriptive tags. We use this to improve matching.

We never show anyone a numeric popularity figure or a rating of how attractive they are, and we never surface who declined to reconnect. Where a feature reveals mutual interest, it reveals it only where both people expressed it.

Protocol is a paid subscription billed monthly in advance at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then. Cancelling does not refund the current period.

We may change prices for future billing periods with notice; the new price applies only after the notice period. Nothing here limits refund or cancellation rights the law in your country gives you and that cannot be contracted away.

You can delete your account from settings. Deletion removes your scans and measurements, your advisor conversations and the notes the advisor kept about you, and your ratings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Some records may persist briefly in backups, and we may keep the minimum required to meet a legal obligation or to enforce a suspension.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be withdrawn. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, and you may stop using the service at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for anything another member says or does, for any decision you take on the basis of a score or advisor output, or for loss of data or profit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], and the courts of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
